Frequently Asked Questions
What counts as storage?
All video clips and snapshots uploaded by your Lowpan cameras count toward your home's storage quota. Motion-triggered clips, manual recordings, and periodic snapshots all share the same pool.
How long are clips kept?
Clips and snapshots are automatically deleted after 30 days. If your storage quota fills up before then, the oldest clips are deleted first — and you'll receive a push notification when that happens.
How many cameras can I connect?
There's no limit on the number of cameras. The subscription covers your entire home, and all cameras share the storage pool. The camera count estimates above are based on typical usage.
Are my videos encrypted?
Yes. Every clip is encrypted with a unique AES-128 key before it leaves your camera. Only your account can decrypt and play the footage.
Can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. For auto-renewing plans (Americas & Europe), cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing year. India annual passes do not auto-renew.
What payment methods are accepted?
All major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and local payment methods depending on your region. Payments are handled securely by Paddle — Lowpan never stores your card details.
