Common issues and how to fix them
Device won't connect to Matter network
- •Make sure your device is within range of your WiFi network
- •Verify your WiFi network is 2.4GHz (5GHz is not supported)
- •Reset the device by holding the reset button for 10 seconds
- •Try re-commissioning the device with a fresh QR code scan
Device is unresponsive
- •Check if the device has power (LED indicator should be on)
- •Verify your WiFi router is working properly
- •Power cycle the device (turn off for 30 seconds, then on)
- •Check if other Matter devices are working (network-wide issue)
Firmware update failed
- •Ensure the device remains powered during the entire update
- •Check your internet connection is stable
- •Wait 5 minutes and try the update again
- •If repeated failures, contact support for assistance
Automation not working
- •Verify all devices in the automation are online
- •Check automation triggers and conditions are correct
- •Ensure your home hub (Google, Apple, Amazon) is online
- •Try deleting and recreating the automation
