Common issues and how to fix them

Device won't connect to Matter network

  • Make sure your device is within range of your WiFi network
  • Verify your WiFi network is 2.4GHz (5GHz is not supported)
  • Reset the device by holding the reset button for 10 seconds
  • Try re-commissioning the device with a fresh QR code scan

Device is unresponsive

  • Check if the device has power (LED indicator should be on)
  • Verify your WiFi router is working properly
  • Power cycle the device (turn off for 30 seconds, then on)
  • Check if other Matter devices are working (network-wide issue)

Firmware update failed

  • Ensure the device remains powered during the entire update
  • Check your internet connection is stable
  • Wait 5 minutes and try the update again
  • If repeated failures, contact support for assistance

Automation not working

  • Verify all devices in the automation are online
  • Check automation triggers and conditions are correct
  • Ensure your home hub (Google, Apple, Amazon) is online
  • Try deleting and recreating the automation
